Shauna currently holds a LMSW in New York State and LGSW in Minnesota with a heartfelt dedication to helping individuals overcome life’s challenges through both clinical expertise and Jesus Christ-centered practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a minor in Psychology (2022) from York College and a Master of Social Work (2024) from Adelphi University.
Shauna has extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients—from children to older adults (ages 6–64)—across various cultural backgrounds, belief systems, and life situations, both as a psychotherapist at an agency and in the hospital as a mental health professional. Her therapeutic approach is personalized and integrative, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities, including:
- Narrative Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Trauma-Focused CBT
- STAIR Narrative Therapy
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Beyond clinical work, Shauna’s background includes ministry. Since 2012 Shauna has given her life to Jesus Christ(baptized). While under the leadership of Pastor Patrica Greenwood of Upper Room Tabernacle of Praise. She was unofficially appointed as Prayer Warrior, Evangelist, and the Pastor’s armor bearer. She later came under the covering of Pastor Nadine Anderson’s Faith, Purpose, Healing, and Deliverance Ministry. She was given many opportunities to showcase and nurture her gifts. As service to others, she had prayed for many by request and also conducted home prayers. Shauna is currently an ordained Pastor.

The name Intercept symbolizes her mission: helping others to take control of the course of their life. Most importantly, through the power of God, to be able to cut off negative mindsets, people, or things from their life, and any intended destination that goes against God’s will for their life.
